Erik Anderson, DVM
Chief of Staff
Erik was born and raised in Merrimack, New Hampshire and received his undergraduate degree from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Erik received his veterinary education from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. After graduation, he completed a rotating internship at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver, and was featured on the Animal Planet TV series, E-vet Interns. You may still be able to catch him on a late night rerun!
Erik knew he wanted to be a vet from a very young age. He began working with animals at the age of 12 while volunteering at the local Humane Society and later as a veterinary assistant at several small animal hospitals during high school and college. He has lived in the Highlands neighborhood for the last 12 years and is excited to bring his practice to his friends and neighbors in his own backyard. His professional interests include oncology, dentistry, and internal medicine.
Outside of work, Erik enjoys camping, mountain biking, fly fishing, playing guitar, and brewing beer. Erik and his new bride Christine stay busy at home with their two children, Brady and Abby, a pair of mom and son Chihuahuas (don’t judge!), and a mischievous orange tabby cat.
